"What a lovely thing to read. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside about a place I have been in and around for decades. Thank you for that, just perfect. We headed to the coast at the weekend because of your lovely words."

"Such lovely little accounts of your visits to Norfolk's beautiful spots and unusual hidden places. You really do carry us along with you.. a fascinating journey! I feel like I’ve been there myself!! You have a real gift of appreciating the little, probably often overlooked places and treasures that are tucked away in your special neck of the woods!"

The concept of The Norfolk Dispatch arrived slowly...
It started with joyful sketchbook drawings - a way to find my flow with art again after 4 years in the midst of motherhood.
I wanted to offer something heartfelt and intentional, something that transcended online constraints. Something that could make people feel connected in real life.
The name came first, and over the course of a few months the seed germinated. The daily storytelling I often kept in my head started to make its way onto paper, finding a home next to my illustrations. Putting both onto paper together breathed life into the concept: an illustrated letter subscription.
The Norfolk Dispatch is published quarterly, to allow time to create freely, balance work and motherhood, and ensure that each edition of The Norfolk Dispatch is full to the brim with beauty. It's a joy to create and share.
Meet the Artist behind the letters:
Hello! I'm Saskia Keeling, Artist and Illustrator, Mother of two, and creator of The Norfolk Dispatch.
I've combined my love of sketching, documenting life with words, and the joy I find in my Norfolk surroundings to create the Dispatch. It's a celebration of the best things that Norfolk has to offer; from food and drink, coastal delights, nature and local businesses, interspersed with retellings of the magic of everyday life with a young family.
